Pisgah Store Report
This is a comprehensive report that we wrote after interviewing Sandy Winner and Tom Winner, the “kids” from the Pisgah Store during the Winner years from 1946-1974. This report is a collection of their stories and memories combined with other Pisgah Store memories from our Facebook group members and information we found in the old newspaper archives.

Pisgah Store Ownership Log
The earliest mention we have been able to find for the Pisgah Store was a newspaper article from December 1885 that said Thomas Spainhower was the owner of the store at the time. We kept track of every mention of the Pisgah Store and its owners in the newspaper articles that we would read. This is what we collected.
